Every Friday morning from 10 am– 12 pm we will be hosting “Get Toasty” at Channel View Community Centre our initiative to keep the community warm.
Get Toasty is completely free to come along to, we’ll be providing hot drinks, cakes and toast. There’ll also be crafts, and the opportunity to socialise with others.
Everyone is welcome, so come along and join us!
Building meaningful connections and relationships is one of our core values. At Get Toasty, you can expect the opportunity to socialise with others through conversation, games, and arts and crafts.
We're helping to fight loneliness this winter.
Keep Toasty this Winter
To help keep you warm at home, thanks again to The National Grid Community Matters Fund, we’ve been able to secure some electric blankets, thick duvets, thermal throws, and electric heaters to give to those who need them.
To apply to us to receive some of these packs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Arts & Craft
We also run arts and crafts sessions at our Friday Get Toasty sessions.
Encouraging creativity and expression through group craft sessions is a fun way to spend your Friday morning.
