It's been a busy opening week but we're more than a bit excited to say - we are officially open at We Connect! Have you managed to visit us yet?
It's been a two-month long marathon to get here. There has been blood, sweat and tears. We have had numerous painting parties (thank you to everyone who gave up their time and took part.) There was a total kitchen remodel, a leaky dishwasher, a coffee machine malfunction, a table delivery consisting of just one table, more paint. We mentioned tears - right?
Finally, the small matter of a mild hurricane that engulfed the UK on our originally planned opening day that we had to navigate. None of that matters now though - we are officially open.
Come Join Us!
We're open Monday - Friday at 60 Tredegar Street. Selling a wide selection of quality and sustainable coffees at really competitive prices. We've created a warm and relaxing environment for you to enjoy them in too. Don't take our words for it though, we believe our pictures speak a thousand words...
The Coffee Shop is open from 8am every week day. Monday and Tuesday we close early at 1pm to prepare our pantry, otherwise we're open till 4pm. We have a wide and varied selection of bakes, cakes and paninis on offer and have already expanded our menu based on the feedback we've received from our customers.
From this week you'll be able to get a bacon bap for breakfast, prices from just £2. We also added Jacket Potatoes to our menu for a healthy lunch time alternative and we'll be adding seasonal (and sometimes out of season) specials monthly.
For example - this month you can enjoy a festive throwback of a Gingerbread Latte based on the feedback we got from our customers on Facebook. Take a peak:

Some We Connect Facts
If you're still not sold on a visit with us then here are some amazing facts about us: -
We are for the community and not for profit. That means that 100% of our profits will go back into funding our projects at RCV UK and ensuring our pantry continues to run.
Two days a week we operate as a pantry that sells baskets of food for just £3 a basket.
We have a wide range of vegan and gluten free options available because we want everyone to feel included.
We are 95% volunteer run - so the majority of people that make your tasty beverages and snacks are doing it because they believe in RCV UK and our mission for the local area.
Our suppliers are independent and local. We use Toast and The Coffee Mill for our cakes and bakes.
We are as sustainable as possible and are always looking for ways to improve the way we are working to make less of an impact on the environment.
