Risca Horticultural Society

The Risca Horticultural Society is a group of local people who all have one passion in common, gardening!

In 2022 Gardening can look like many things; whether it be growing vegetables, cut flowers or house plants – everyone interested in plants and nature is welcome.

No matter if you’re a seasoned pro or you are wanting to find a way to get started, we will have a range of ways you can get involved.

We hope to run monthly workshops, talks, and meet-ups to allow you to build connections with local people and expand your horticultural knowledge.

Expel the stereotypical view of what may come to mind when you think of a Horticultural Society. Gardening really is for everyone, and everyone is welcome to be part of this society.

There are lots of ways you can be part of Risca Horticultural Society, whether it be helping out on our community allotment, or joining the committee.

Or, of course, you can just come along and participate in the monthly activities, with no strings attached!
